Paramount Skydance Corp. has initiated the sale of over $44 billion in bonds to fund its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. Following legal settlements, the company can proceed with the financing, which includes various debt tranches. The bond issuance is expected to be one of the largest corporate high-yield deals recorded. Initial pricing discussions have indicated a yield in the low-9% range for the long-term bonds.

Sebi's investigation into Vinod Adani's control over offshore investments in Adani group companies has concluded. The regulator found insufficient evidence to support allegations of minimum public shareholding violations. Vinod Adani was not proven to have effective control over certain foreign portfolio investors. Relationships among parties involved did not demonstrate direct control or influence over investment decisions. Consequently, the case against Vinod Adani was closed due to lack of definitive evidence.

The company said existing shareholders, including retail investors, will be able to participate through the proposed rights issue.
